Re: CSV and bibliographic network visualisation
Hi there Oggy- I created something similar for Columbia University's Department of Epidemiology. It's more abstract as it is not for clinical research, but rather a poster. The idea was the highlight the professors who are faculty members at Columbia. So the Columbia Professor was the source, and po...

Re: Extracting data from Facebook Fan/ Brand Pages
I've been trying to figure out this very same thing. What I have come up with so far is that it is hard, but possible. What I have learned is that you can access fan / public facebook page data through their graph API: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/ , however it will only let yo...

d3 seems to nail this. It would be so amazing if we could have this type of interactivity for our gephi graphs. However, to use this, one must convert to the gexf file to JSON. Is there any easy way to do this? zzz

Displaying the graph layout process on the web
Yooo- I love, how in Gephi, when you run an algorithm, you see all the nodes like dancing around. Like... when you first load in some data, then as soon as you hit that run the algorithm, they all start going ape shit, then they start to self organize... Is it possible to export that process to be v...

Re: sigma.js index.html example file
Has anyone figured out how to use the sigma.js forceAtlas2 plugin with data that is not randomly generated... (ie; a gexf file...); http://sigmajs.org/examples/random_clusters.html in the first few lines of the plugin code is where they randomly generate the nodes.. instead of randomly generated, ca...
