Why not just try the default and see what happens? Then post your results and we can suggest changes.
EDIT: Definitely check "approximate repulsion" before you try though. You have a ton of nodes. Then change the approximation value depending on how slow or fast it is.

Re: Change rendering order of edges?
Hi, Rendering order cannot be changed, I think it follows the order un which edges have been added to the graph. Is there a way to change the order in which edges are added to the graphs? :D Maybe I'll try sorting my excel file the other way then importing it and see if that helps. EDIT: Didn't wor...

Change rendering order of edges?
It seems the Gephi likes to render the fatter edges first and the thinner edges last.
(At least for the force directed layouts.)
I'd like to render the thinner edges first and the fatter ones last so that the fat edges are "on top" of the thin edges.
Is there a way to do this?

Re: Plot size-node size ratio
In the "appearance" tab in the upper left of the "overview", you can see "nodes". Click on that. Then to the right of the words "nodes" and "edges" you see a paint palette, some concentric circles, the letter A, and two "T"s. Click on the concentric circles. Then select your frequency column title. ...

Re: Force Atlas "attraction strength" parameter PER edge?
Thanks! Yeah I figured as much out. Last question. Can I change the relative size of the edges (not length, I want the width) without changing the attraction parameter in the data? I can make the edges wider by multiplying my attraction parameters in the data by 10 or so, but then I have to mess wit...

Force Atlas "attraction strength" parameter PER edge?
Hi, I'm attempting to create a graph of connected nodes that represent music tags/genres. The force atlas style sorta does what I want, except I want to be able to change the value of "attraction" strength for each "edge." (Aka each line between the dots.) I already have the values in the data tabs....
