Hi,
For scholarly purpose, it would be nice
- to get easy access to the methods / reference papers underlying the computation of the various metrics that GEPHI makes available.
- to make sure that the most common metrics do correspond to the standard of the literature.
For instance, the computation of betweenness centrality and closeness do not match the ones from UCINET. Another thread discussed issues with the computation of betweenness,
http://forum.gephi.org/viewtopic.php?f= ... etweenness
, but maybe that the methods should be provided "on the go" (links to relevant papers in the window of the metrics?) instead of being burried in a thread.
Just an idea to increase the diffusion of GEPHI in academia!
Best,
Clement
