Tips: How to organize a Twitter network?

Dear all,

I am very new to Gephi, just have been playing around with it for a couple of hours.

I have a data set containing like 20k nodes with 30k edges. This set is made up by twitter users that are mentioning other users (i.e. directed). My research question for this setup is: Who may be an opinion leader?

My question is: Do you have any suggestions how I should filter my network with regard to this research questions? What would be the appropriate approach in terms of partion parameters?

I realize that this is quite a general question. But maybe someone can point out the direction in which I should head.
