Sorry, I would like to known, if the community detection can use weighed network. In fact, i would like to use the algorithm to find the french travel to work area.

Gephi implements the Louvain algo, but without weights. Network Workbench does provide it if you need it (https://nwb.slis.indiana.edu/community/ ... yDetection)
If you need to switch between Network Workbench and Gephi for this task, the gdf network format is read by both software.
