Labels in png exports

Good afternoon - this seems as if it should be an easy question, but I am stumped. How do I control whether or not labels appear in png or pdf files exported from the File menu?

I have a graph I created several weeks ago which exports with labels regardless of whether or not they're visible in graph view.
Conversely, I made a graph this morning that will not export with labels regardless of their visibility in graph view.

Is there a simple fix I'm missing here? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Unfortunately I can't seem to control directed graph arrows in preview - is that accessible in here somewhere?

In which way do you need to control them?
There is only a edge arrow size setting.

Sorry, I don't know why I said "control" - I just need to get them to appear. They currently do not, regardless of the size setting.

Oh I see,
Probably you are using curved edges, and for the moment they don't show arrows (the direction is clock-wise).
So disable curved edges to see arrows.
