3D movement in graph

Hello, I just got started testing Gephi a few days ago. Thanks for sharing it.

I'm trying to find out how to move nodes into the 3rd dimension in the graph. I believe I read in a tutorial that you would use the middle mouse button, however this is not working. I can't get any depth to this thing. Is there another trick to it?
