I am very new and throwing myself into this to see what visualizing data is like.
I have a data set of a dozen or so recipes. Each recipe is a node. Each ingredient is a node. I want to graph the data set where the recipes disappear and just the ingredients are left behind connected directly to each other. So for instance, if Bread Recipe node has two edges: Butter and Eggs, I want to just see Eggs and Butter connected without the recipe in between them. Is that even possible?
I feel like the filters can maybe filter out "recipe" as a category. But I want them more than hidden... which is just way beyond my skill.
I uploaded my set so you can maybe see what I mean?

Re: Hide nodes, keep edges
Check this plugin: https://marketplace.gephi.org/plugin/ex ... o-network/
Then you need an excel file that looks like - see Excel file attached.
Then in the plugin, select "Ingredients" for both agents ( ->there is a panel that asks for which agent should be connected - select "Ingredients" both times.)
- Finally, do select "semicolon" as the separator for both agents in the relevant panel
Best,
Clement

Re: Hide nodes, keep edges
Wow! thanks. Is there any way to recuperate the data in my gephi file that I uploaded?
