Greetings,
I am trying to visualize a large-scale graph of protein interactions (about 20,000 nodes, 210,000 edges).
I have imported the nodes table, which has the following form:
Q8TBF5,911
Q8TBF7,0
Q5MIZ7,3227
Q9Y6C9,3146
.................
where the first entry in each line is a protein and the 2nd entry is the cluster to which it belongs. The
clustering has been done outside Gephi. There are about 5,000 clusters and I would like to color each one
with different color (except for the 0 cluster that I would like to color gray). Is there an efficient way to do
this? Will I need to use the Ranking toolbox, or something else?
Thank you in advance,
Giorgos

Re: Coloring nodes from imported cluster information
Hi,
Partition is the feature to do this. That's a lot of colors though. If all of them should be completely unique (partition randomizes and lets you change them), it would be probably better to do this programmatically for this case. http://wiki.gephi.org/index.php/Toolkit_-_Partition
