Graphic Card Needed or Memory?

Hello,

what is more necessary to work with a big quantity of nodes in Gephi: More RAM (memory) or having a dedicated graphic card more than an integrated one?

My question is in relation to laptops as if you do not want them to be very heavy for travelling they normally have integrated cards. I mean, is it supposed that Gephi is going to work conveniently with a laptop, for instance, equipped with i7 intel, 16 RAM,windows 10, and Intel HD Card integrated? Or you really need a dedicated graphic card, and a very heavy laptop?

Do you have some experiences or recommendations on this?

Gephi should work very well with that laptop, the weakest part there is the graphics card actually, but it should be fine. How big are the networks?

Thanks for your answer. Well, I normally work with near 1 million nodes (in other computer, with separated graphic card). And with an old laptop (6 RAM) such size doesn't work, and I need to trim the network off. So I am trying to solve that problem, because sometimes I have to use Gephi when I am out of the office.
Maybe in next times I will have to use bigger networks. I do not know if for Gephi is better the graphic card or the RAM.
And laptops use to be very heavy with graphic cards!

More RAM is necessary for loading big graphs. Better GPU is necessary for displaying them.
