Help Please: NullPointer error in Mavericks

I am running Gephi in Mac Mavericks running on JDK 1.6.0.

When I launch the application from the Applications tab, I get the following error:

I started getting the same error today. Everything was working fine a couple days ago. This morning, I opened up Parallels 8 to run UCINET, and after that I started getting the same problem. Restarted my computer, left Parallels turned off, but am still having the problem.
