Ugh, that is carriage returns introduced by my windows git version.
I am uploading the fixed file. Same link https://github.com/downloads/eduramiba/ ... 1-beta.zip

Ok,
First off, I am not a programmer or computer guy, I am a criminologist. I am attempting to use Gephi for a class on Social Network Analysis, and so far all it has done is freeze up my computer. I am required to use your program for this class, so I am a little frustrated that it does not work on a MAC.
I have tried updating Java, and using Safari even though Chrome is my preferred browser. I stop short of fooling around changing Java code because I don't want a $2,000 paperweight with an Apple logo if I screw it up.
So far, I have made a little progress. Gephi actually opens now (Before it just displayed a logo and crashed immediately). Now it opens, and the graph window opens minimized up in the top left corner of my screen. If I try to move it or make it bigger so I can do some work, I get the "pinwheel of death" and have to force quit the program, which stops responding.
I have a MACbook pro with Mountain Lion X 8.2 Any help would be appreciated, but as I said, I am not comfortable doing my own programming work as this is my school/work computer and I need it for almost everything. Thanks!

Hi,
Then it should just work, now that it opens correctly.
You can try to delete the gephi settings folder under /Your_username/Library/Application support/gephi and run it again.
But this new problem could be a graphics card problem.
