Force Atlas takes forever.

Could not get Force Atlas to finish running on a graph with a few hundred nodes. So a tried a 3 node, 3 arc graph. Force Atlas with all default settings ran for 10 minutes before I killed it. I know it was working by watching the Activity Monitor. This is Gephi 0.8.1 beta running on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7.4. Anyone know what might be wrong?

ForceAtlas is design to never finish, so that you can stop it manually when you consider the visualization is right enough. Please read the Layouts Tutorial.
