Merged edges, weight added together

I'm importing csv-spreadsheets for both nodes and edges.
When I import edges, parallel edges are merged, their weight added and other attributes discarded. This forces to created many gephi files with different edge lists instead of just using the filter on some attribute.
Do you know if there's any way to prevent Gephi merging parallel edges while importing csvs?
I'm using Gephi 0.9.1

This is implemented for 0.9.2. Please test the latest snapshot at https://github.com/gephi/gephi#nightly-builds
