Avoid merging edges with different intervals

Hi,
is it possible to avoid the merging of two parallel edges, which are valid at different time intervals? Within the Data Table this seems to be possible by introducing a new column and giving different values to the two edges in this column. However, if I import edge data from a csv-file, all parallel edges are automatically merged, regardless of different intervals or other values.
Does anybody have a suggestion on how to approach this problem?

This will be possible with next version of Gephi, where spreadsheet import has been improved.
