Weights not adding

Hello, I am importing a csv file and, although it says that repeated edges will automatically 'sum' and affect the weight, this is not happening and I'm getting duplicate edges (same source, same target) all of Weight 1. Any help? Many thanks!
(I am using Gephi 0.9.1 on Windows 7)
