Hi, I wonder if Gephi is capable of creating the graph layout as follows. It enables us to see a complex network in their wholeness or their underlying scaling hierarchy (6 hierarchical levels):
The radial layers or hierarchical levels are derived from head/tail breaks according to in-degrees of connectivity: those in the center have the highest in-degree, while those in the peripheral have the lowest in-degree. The directed links (or in-degrees) are represented by blue lines, while undirected links are represented by gray lines. For details, one can refer to the following paper:
