Layout that distinguish in-edges and out-edges

I found Force Atlas an ideal layout algorithm for our use, but since we have a directed graph, we hope to see the in-edges and out-edges of a note separately. Is there a layout algorithm that could do that? For example, displaying the in-edges and out-edges on separate sides of a note would be very nice.

Thank in advance to all answers!
