Hi all,
Is there a way to layout your graph based on the modularity communities identified? In other words, I am looking to place the community nodes in relatively non-overlapping regions of space.
Thanks

Just a bump to keep this query alive...

Hi,
There is no way to directly use the modularity. One good layout if you want to show the cluster of your graph is OpenOrd, available in the plugins.

Ah, that is a pity. Thanks for confirming though
Re: Using modularity communities to layout graph?
Though this is an old thread, I feel as though this is an important question to address.
I think you can:
1) Apply a partition filter, choosing "Modularity Class" as the node attribute.
2) Increase your "dragging radius" in the graph pane.
3) For each "Modularity class", filter only it. Then, apply your layout of choice to this community.
Drag it where you want on the screen. Repeat.

That's a decent 'hack'. Will keep it in mind. Thanks
