Since Twitter usernames are unique, you could create a field called "Id" in your CSV nodes table and then copy the Twitter username to the "Id" field.
This should work. I might have time to build the network for you if you wanted to share or send me your CSV files.

Re: Left to Right Layout
I don't know of such a layout algorithm for Gephi. However, I can see that it would have some interesting applications. It might have difficulties under certain conditions, too, and be unable to achieve a clean and readable layout.
It would be great if someone developed a layout algorithm for it.

Re: Selecting Multiple Edges
Hi obbila, I've had some problems importing edge weights in CSV spreadsheets before. On import, some of the values in the "Weight" column would be changed slightly. For example, if all my edge weights were 1.0, most of the rows would have the value 1.0 in the "Weight" column, but other rows might ha...

Re: geospatial analysis
Hi Baxterpm, I don't believe that the Geo Layout plug-in provides the metrics you want. My guess, though, is that you could generate many of the metrics you want using a nodes table and an edges table together with some simple scripts or queries. That said, I can imagine that some of your desired me...

Re: [SOLVED] Repeated column names error on import
Wow, that was a really cool dataset. I'm glad you solved the problem; if you need it in Gephi format, let me know....

Re: Network of co-morbidities
Hi Nikolaid, That sounds like an interesting project. One of the first things you'd want to decide is which values you want to be nodes and which values you want to be "properties" or "attributes" of a node. Some of your data could be used as either nodes or node attributes. You might choose to buil...

Re: Importing CSV Adjacency Matrix
You also might want to try using semicolons rather than commas, since that's what the example suggests. I rapidly tried a few permutations and received a couple of null pointer exceptions, but I didn't have time to trap the error.

Re: Importing CSV Adjacency Matrix
Here are some other things to try:
- replace zero weights with empty cells (otherwise, the importer will read it as an edge with zero weight).
- save your .csv file with UTF-8 encoding (that's just a rule of thumb I follow; I don't know if it makes a difference here).
Good luck!
