Re: Parsing GEXF in PHP
I had a similar need and I used DOMXPath that works well. You have to register the namespaces with the xPath object: $xp->registerNamespace('gexf', 'http://www.gexf.net/1.1draft'); $xp->registerNamespace('viz', 'http:///www.gexf.net/1.1draft/viz'); After that, queries give you all the attributes you...

Re: ForceAtlas publication
I didn't commit it in the Launchpad (mainly because I'm confused by its complexity ; I'm an impostor as a computer engineer). I have fixed some bugs and my release is ready. I still need to build it with the last version of Gephi Dev. Once it's done, I'll release it with the source code. (this week ...

Re: How to hide intra-partition edges?
According to me, the straightforward solution is missing in Gephi. It would be to have a feature that allows to filter edges according to properties of the two connected nodes. It could appear in the Data Lab, and would be to generate a column with a regexp of a column of the source (resp. target) n...

Re: Clustering coefficient
I confirm there is something broken in the code of Clustering Coefficient.
Here is an example (simple) I don't get the point (I hoped it was taking the whole ego graph in account, ie. with "ego" instead of without, but it's something else...)

Re: Using force atlas to bring my network to life
Hi, The problem with ForceAtlas is that its complexity is in n²: 2x more nodes makes a speed 4x slower. So switching from 10 nodes to 250 makes the speed 625x slower. This is a general problem, and the best we can do is to have a complexity of n.log(n), which means your speed would be "only" 65x slo...

Re: ForceAtlas publication
Hi everybody! I'm back and I am happy. I updated the whole ForceAtlas code to make it "modern" and the result exceeds my expectations. Just for you (since you're interested in ForceAtlas) there is my current version of the ForceAtlas2 plug-in that I will officially publish soon. It has the same form...
