Re: Smart color chooser for clusters
This should be part of the Partition work planned for the 0.9 release. The partition module should be mostly rewritten (like we did for Ranking and Preview) for that release and we'll integrate this awesome work on palettes.

Re: Import Graph From Table-Based Database with Hierarchy
Hi, Interesting use case. When you import your dataset from MYSQL it should already include the other columns. But what you want to do is use these columns to create a specific graph structure, hierarchical. This is something you could do by creating a new Import Processor in Gephi as a plugin. Proc...

Re: Edge creating and automaticly calculate weight.
Hi, I think you'll need to create your own plug-in for doing that. Gephi stores node position in a X,Y coordinate format and the GeoLayout transforms the lat/long into that space. You could easily access access the positions and do the contrary operation, from X, Y to the projection you want and the...

Re: [SOLVED] graph export gets trimmed
We should open an issue for that on GitHub. The expected behaviour is that it fits automatically, at least for the nodes.

Re: Continuous Sort Freeze
If the amount of added/removed nodes is really huge you may want to increase the delay between two iterations. Under the hood Gephi will create events for each of the write operations (add/remove). The events are put in a queue following a producer-consumer model. THe queue runs in another thread an...

Re: Continuous Sort Freeze
You don't need to use read locks to modify attributes, unless you have another thread that might delete nodes/edges. You should have the same number of locks and unlocks. If you call readLock() you need to readUnlock() otherwise it will freeze. When you iterate over nodes a read lock is automaticall...
