Re: Adjusting edge weight
Hey Pete, If you're thinking purely of the visual results, you can adjust the Edge Thickness settings in Preview to get a better sense of strong connections. If you want to adjust the actual weight values, one way to proceed would be to filter your graph by Edge Weight, open the Data Laboratory, mak...

Re: Set Canvas Size for Output
I would think the easiest thing to do would be to have an X-radius from center and Y-radius from center. Then, if you want to Settle a node at the center point, you have some control. Beyond that, defining an actual canvas with an overlay would be useful.

Re: Subquery
I tried that and it came back with too many nodes, so I went back and tried it again and it came back with too many nodes but, and here's the weird thing, when I bumped the minimum value up to 2 for the degree range filter, it worked fine. I think there's a bug when the Degree Filter is set to 1, at...

[TODO] SNA Plugin Still Not Available on 8.beta?
It seems like the plugin with all the traditional SNA metrics (the one with the Erdos number statistic) isn't available for .8 is that right? What needs to be done to get it into .8?

[SOLVED] Subquery
I'm trying to only show the nodes with 1 or more connections in a certain partition of the network and it seems that the Toolkit Filters tutorial covers this in their explanation of an Intersection query, but when I run this (with degree min set to 1 and partition set to the partitions of my network...

[SOLVED] Parent Color Syntax
I can't seem to find the syntax anywhere for how to assign the color of, for instance, a label halo to the parent node, something like:
props.putValue(PreviewProperty.NODE_LABEL_OUTLINE_COLOR, parent);
props.putValue(PreviewProperty.NODE_LABEL_OUTLINE_COLOR, parent);

Re: Transparent Background for PNG
Oh, that's right, I remember that checkbox--the toolkit option was really what I was looking for. Thanks!

[SOLVED] Transparent Background for PNG
Is this possible? I have some graphs that produce such large SVGs that they're practically unworkable. I'd prefer to just output PNG with transparency at high resolution. I'd also like to do this with the toolkit.

Set Canvas Size for Output
Oftentimes I'll have a graph that has elements that fly well out of range--is there a setting to only export an svg/pdf/png of X units around the center?
