Re: one gexf multiple graphs / label on graph
Ok cool, here is my wishlist on this topic to the gexf working group : - allow several graph in gexf - add a label attribute to graph to the gephi team : - import graph into seperate workspace, which means different namespace for the ids of nodes in each graph - map the graph label to the workspace ...

one gexf multiple graphs / label on graph
Hi there,
I'd like to create one gexf with many graph inside, will gephi open the graphs in workspaces ?
can I precise the name of the workspace in a graph attribute like label ?
I can't find anything to name a graph in the gexf specification.
thanks for your help

Re: hierarchy problem
ok guys, good news is : import gexf hierarchy is fine ! bad news is : mm I experience more bug(s) I'll try to be as precise as possible although this looks like a hidden monster. few words about my data : I have 2 types of nodes (there is type node attribute) : - actors - institusions only instituti...

Re: hierarchy problem
Ok here is my code in a zip file.
I will then try to use the other method declaring nodes inside nodes although it requires a complete different algo.
I keep you posting on this.

hierarchy problem
Hi there, I have generated a gexf with a complex nodes hierarchy using the pid structure. My gexf generator code checks carefully (twice) that pid references exist in the nodes population. When I open that gexf file I have a "Node must be in the graph" error and only a undefined part of the nodes ar...

Re: paralell edges, dynamic graph, discontinued period of times
Ok I hadn't read the primer document which explain all what I was wondering about.
SO I add the link once again here for those you want to know more about dynamic GEXF : http://gexf.net/1.1draft/gexf-11draft-primer.pdf

Re: paralell edges, dynamic graph, discontinued period of times
Ok thanks for all those information.
I put slices in my todo list but 'll wait a gephi support first.
But as said upper, changing attributes values (weight) in time seems the good way for me.
Thanks for the paper, will read this.

Re: paralell edges, dynamic graph, discontinued period of times
Interesting. I can see slices in the dynamic example but where can I find a explanation of this slice concept ? Is there a gexf official documentation defining all elements and concepts ? To be sure is a slice : a subperiod of time of a node or edge time period in which the node or edge is alive whi...
