Re: [IMPORTANT] Gephi license: leaving GNU AGPL to BSD?
At this point I think adoption is much more important for Gephi than the political view behind the license. If companies are able to use Gephi's platform for their own profit I think it'd awesome, because it'll represent a great validation for Gephi and ultimately some of the benefits will flow back...

Re: [IMPORTANT] Gephi license: leaving GNU AGPL to BSD?
Hi Sebastien, I agree that this is a very important topic and I agree with you about developer freedom. A piece of code without people around is just useless. I personally don't care whether it's GPL, BSD or Apache, and I understand the license can affect (positively or negatively) the ability of co...

Hi graphdrawer,
I apologize for the delay, I've been quite busy lately.
Indeed the implementation could use a much smarter numeric integration method.
As you see there are lots of low hanging fruits for improvements

Re: Disconnected components with multilevel
Hi graphdrawer, There are two kind of forces in Yifan Hu's algorithm, one is edge driven force (e.g. edges are springs) and another node driven (e.g. electrical repulsion between nodes). The node driven force doesn't depend on graph connectedness, so you don't have to worry about it. If you have N n...
