3-D Visualization in Preview
Hi there I am playing with a 3-D Fruchterman Reingold visualization which is working well in the Overview area but is not changing/updating to the same visual in the preview area (it is still my usual 2-D picture) when I go to the preview area, and therefore I cannot export it as the 3-D picture I s...

Cut Sets Measures
Hi there
I am wanting to explore how to find out which nodes, by their removal, would break the connections in my network ie how do I find a "cut-set", I think it is called in graph theory.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Webbykk

Re: Data Import
Hi again
Not sure if that last post was for me? If it was I can't convert my text file to csv by opening it and doing "save as". If you mean open it in Gephi and convert it - can you give me the steps please as I can't work that out?
Thanks, Webbykk

Re: Data Import
Hi again, I am nearly there, I hope. I now have my data in a notepad format with semi-colons, but still can't get it to import this, it is still asking for a source and target and does not recognised them. I have attached the notepad format for you. Any further advice much appreciated. Cheers, Webby

Re: Data Import
Hi again, Thanks for that but I am still lost? There are no commas in my excel spreadsheet, so do mean convert it to a different format first? I am not sure what a text editor is that you might be referring to? More step by step instructions for dummies is required, sorry. I understand Gephi wants i...

Re: Data Import
Hi, Thanks for that. I have looked at the formats, and the matrix one is what I need to get to. I have an excel spreadsheet which is a matrix with weighted edges saved as a csv file. My problem then is that the matrix is not recognized as a matrix format with commas as separators when I import it. H...

Data Import
Hi there, I am attempting to use Gephi and have my data set up for use in social network analysis programs. I therefore have a one mode weighted undirected (edge) matrix in excel which I have converted to csv and I am attempting to import it as my edge table. I have already set up the node file in t...
