Re: edge label on preview
great ! thanks for this amazingly quick reaction as usual ! Ok I am going to add something else about labels on the idealist : to allow line breaks into long-text Labels to improve readability when dealing with text mining graphs. I tried many line break formats but couldn't find any to indeed wrap ...

Re: GEXF in NetworkX
hi guys,
I just replied their thread.
NetworkX looks like a nice python lib dealing with graph.
merging pygexf in this project could be valuable indeed.
Will see what can be done.

Re: creating DynamicGraph with libgexf
hi there, i am currently in china in poor internet connection uptime and struggling with proxy to access many blocked websites like gephi.org ;-) Well yes I thought that I could use an existing python graph lib but i hadn't time to make a clearer plan. My previous idea was just to be close to the pr...

bugs in filter and ranking
Hi there, you might already have noticed those bugs but just to be sure I add my comments. I experienced some strange behaviors : - queries / subqueries : # import a gexf # add a partition query # run filter # add a subquery # remove the subquery # update the top query parameters => doesn't work for...

viz:color on edges ?
Hi there,
So declaring color on edge isn't supported ?
Although edges can be colored by gephi.. (by using partition or ranking)
Is there a way to set a color to edge using gexf ?
Paul
from GEXF primerColor, position and size of nodes are stored as node attributes.

Re: xmlns:xsi and xsi:schemaLocation are valid xml ?
Actually I just discovered the notion of namespace in xml. For people using lxml and python here is hte right way to write the gexf tag : xmlns="http://www.gephi.org/gexf/1.1draft" xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" schemaLocation="http://www.gephi.org/gexf/1.1draft http://gephi.org/gex...

Re: hierarchy problem
To anybody you'd like to use hierarchy here is a workaround: I used a technic based on a depth attribute. my institutions nodes have a 3 levels-hierarchy each institution node has a depth attribute set between 0 and 2. Actors who are not concerned about the hierarchy have a depth set to -1. normaly ...
