[SOLVED] How do I set node size (not via mouse dragging)
I can click a node, select the node sizing tool, and then drag up/down with the mouse to resize a node. I can also do this for multiple selections of nodes. I can also use the Ranking module to set node sizes according to some node characteristic. I would like to know is if there is a simple and exa...

Re: Edge size button missing
Is this still not available? This is crucial for me to generate usable figures and it seems to be gone since October.

Re: How do I get the same visual scales/ranks on two workspa
Here's how I ended up doing this in a bit of a manual kludge: 1. First used Graph B's edge color scale, with an added setpoint triangle (is this the right terminology?). Slid the setpoint until the tooltip gave a value of 150. 2. Double clicked the setpoint and noted the HSL values for that color. 3...

Re: How do I get the same visual scales/ranks on two workspa
I don't think I'm quite far along enough in using Gephi to implement what you suggested. Below is what I tried to do. Let's call Graph A the graph with a max edge attribute (call this F) of 150 while Graph B has a max F of 250. (Also wanted to clarify I'm using an edge attribute and not the weight, ...

Re: Gephi fails to open files and then just stops working
Thanks, deleted the .gephi directory and redid the plugin installs/updates.
I've found overall it works better to start Gephi via the program link and not double clicking a registered file, thoughts?

Re: Would a StackExchange site be of value?
Hard to summarize the advantages of SE/OSQA for a question/answer tech support platform. Have you ever used stackoverflow for programming related questions? Looks like there is an opensource clone of StackExchange called OSQA. www.osqa.com. I think OSQA would be ideal since could self host - if you ...

Gephi fails to open files and then just stops working
I have this sequence that occurs, don't know the exact order of things, happens way too frequently, but most recently I installed a plugin and was prompted to restart. Then: 1. Program did not automatically restart. 2. I manually reopened the previous file I was working on, the program hangs. 3. Try...
