Re: Scripting Console Jython Installation
Hey, it seems you're trying to install the Scripting Console by taynaud, right? I would suggest you to try the new Scripting Plugin: http://wiki.gephi.org/index.php/Scripting_Plugin This new plugin was my project during Google Summer of Code 2011. While I'm not able to give you support with taynaud'...

Re: how to access plugin variables through jython console?
The plugin doesn't support time-varying networks. I plan to implement timeline support, but I'm not yet really sure about how this should work. If you have ideas, please share them!
I'm really glad that you liked the plugin! Let me know if you have more questions.

Re: how to access plugin variables through jython console?
Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm not really sure if I understand your question, but I'll give it a try. This is also the first time that I use the CoordinateView plugin. If I understand it correctly, the CoordinateView plugin allows you to use attribute columns from the nodes properties to arrange...

Re: Statistics Reports and HTML5 Charts
To other students that are interested on this proposal, here's an IRC log from a chat with Vikash I had today on the #gephi channel at Freenode. He asked a few questions to me that might be interesting for other students too: [00:35] < vikash23> luizribeiro: ping [00:41] < luizribeiro> vikash23: hey...

Re: [2011] Present yourself!
Hi Quentin,
This is the 2011 thread. Please, present yourself in the new topic for the 2012 program: https://forum.gephi.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1732
Apparently the link in the Questionnaire is wrong. I'll notify Sebastien about this. Sorry!

Re: Statistics Reports and HTML5 Charts
Hi Vikash and Leo (thank you for joining us, btw), Well, I'm open to suggestions on how to design the Report API, but here's how I imagine it at the moment: It believe it would be nice if we had a full representation of a Report in the form of plain-old Java objects (the getReport method would retur...

Re: Statistics Reports and HTML5 Charts
Hi Vikash, Thanks for you interest on this! It's good that you're already exploring Gephi. Be sure to fork/clone the gephi repository to get used to our development environment. Also, don't forget to follow the steps and answer the questions from the questionnaire . Yes, you are correct. The student...

Re: Template for automatic layout
Hey there, I'm the GSoC student that worked on the Scripting Plugin. This is pretty much the kind of job the Scripting Plugin will be able to do. Although, we don't have support for ranking and layout support is not very mature yet. Besides, the only way at the moment of running external py files (i...

Re: HowTo integrate gephi library in Django-Jython App
Hi there! I'm not really sure about this, but I think you can just put the Gephi Toolkit JAR in the classpath and use it from Django-Jython. Perhaps something like jbilcke suggested here: http://forum.gephi.org/viewtopic.php?t=476 Even though he talks about developing Jython scripts that use the Gep...

Re: Porting of Gython
Hi everyone, I have a new draft of my proposal. It is publicly available on Melange here and a PDF version is also available here . Any comments are more than welcome. This time, my proposal focuses on Gython. I believe now I have a good understanding of the inner workings of Gython and I tried to e...
