Hi, your files look fine.
Make sure you use Gephi 0.9.2, import the lat and long files as a numeric type (Double for example), and they are in degrees.
Then just apply geo layout (installed in Tools - Plugins).

Friends I tried many a times for visualization of geographical map using Geo-Layout, but could not succeed. The nodes and edges files are attached here. Please help in developing geo map.

Is there a way to get values for the shortest path lengths of a number of different node to node combinations without having to keep selecting nodes and click on the airplane button? I've worked out there are about 2500 different combinations that I'll need, and to keep using the airplane button would be too time consuming. I'd like to use Dijkstra's algorithm but I'm not much of a programmer and can't even get the Bellman-Ford example to work using the scripting plugin

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Gephi family,

I installed v0.9.2 with the graphviz plugin (Ubuntu 16.04, Java OpenJDK 1.8). I can't find any action among the plugin controls that has an effect on the graph, i. e. no graphviz-like layout is generated.

How can I find the cause? (I have no idea where to start debugging.)

May I ask if there are any prerequisites for this plugin? Let's say a google maps api key? Maybe my question seems stupid but I have no clue what's going wrong.

Thanks for the shift response. I have made the configurations for the connection issues.In the second link when I try to download it I receive an error: 404 file not found.
To be more precise, I tried it with other plugins and it worked properly.

Do you have a clue why I don't find the Google Maps API exporter plugin or I cannot download it manually?
I have version 0.8.2 and I have followed also the steps required.

Any other recommendations on how to display my network on a map?

Dear all,
Due to corporate firewalls etc I cannot get anything above v0.8.2b to work on my machine and hope someone may still be able to help although it is an old version.

I am trying to install plugins, specifically the GeoLayout one that is available for 0.8.2. However, most likely due to proxy settings I cannot get any plugins to show up under Tools/Plugins and therefore download it manually and try to add it.

However, it does not come as a .nbm file or executable jar file. Is there anyway to copy plugin files into the correct directory and get it to work that way?

Any input is of course welcome.

Hello / Bonjour,

For a student project, we have to create a simple graph vizualisation software or extends an existing one. I saw we could create a plugin for Gephi, but I never created a plugin before. I have followed Gephi's guide (https://github.com/gephi/gephi-plugins), installed netbeans, maven, but I don't understand what I am supposed to do next.
Can someone explains me what the steps are to create a gephi plugin ? Or is it to complex for a begginer ?

I think it selects the nodes that are not filtered out.

So "Select" selects the nodes/edges that are filtered out, basically the opposite of "export to new workspace"?
